Struggling to Get Your Baby to Enjoy Tummy Time? These 6 Things Actually Worked for my Baby 🀍

I’ll be honest, tummy time wasn’t something my baby naturally loved at first. There were moments where it felt like I was trying everything… only for it to last a few seconds before the fussing started. And as a first-time mom, I kept wondering if I was doing something wrong. But slowly, I started noticing something: It wasn’t that my baby  hated  tummy time… She just needed the right kind of stimulation to actually enjoy it. Once I made a few small changes, everything shifted. Tummy time became less of a struggle… and more of a moment we could both enjoy. So if you’re in that phase too, here are a few things that genuinely worked for my baby 🀍 1. Oball (easy to hold, hard to ignore) This was one of the first things that worked. The shape made it easy for her to grab, even at that early stage. She stayed focused. She reached. She stayed a little longer. It gave her something to do instead of just being there. πŸ‘‰  [Here is the direct link  to the one I use, or ...

Everything No One Tells You About Breastfeeding (Part 2)

As a first-time mom still navigating breastfeeding, I quickly realized that just when you think you’re starting to figure it out,  new things keep showing up. Some are small. Some are unexpected. And some completely change your daily routine. So here’s part 2 of the things no one really tells you about breastfeeding 🀍 1. You will snack all the time I didn’t expect breastfeeding to make me this hungry. It’s not normal hunger,  it’s sudden, strong, and constant, especially during feeds. Whenever I wake up in the middle of the night, I run straight to the kitchen to grab something to eat.  I literally started needing snacks everywhere: beside my bed near my feeding station in my diaper bag etc. Because if I don’t eat quickly, I will literally feel like my whole intestine is drying up. 2. You may experience dry skin  This one surprised me! Between hormonal changes and constant feeding, my skin started feeling different, drier and more sensitive than usual. Sometimes, I ...

Planning to Exclusively Breastfeed? Be Prepared for This (Part 1)

I’m a first-time mom, currently in my breastfeeding journey, and still learning as I go. Before giving birth, I told myself I wanted to exclusively breastfeed. I imagined something natural, beautiful, and simple. And while there are absolutely beautiful parts to it… there are also a few things no one really prepared me for. So if you’re planning to exclusively breastfeed, here’s what I wish someone had told me 🀍 1. You will find yourself pumping anytime and anywhere Even if you don’t plan to pump often… life happens. Appointments, outings, long days,  sometimes your body doesn’t care where you are. You just need relief. Having a  portable pump  or a reliable manual option really saved me during those unpredictable moments (I’ll link the one I use here) . It made things feel a little less stressful when I was out. 2. You will definitely leak at some point (so be prepared) No one really talks about this enough. It can happen at the most random times, and yes, sometimes whe...
